With a strong foundation in Finance (CIMA London), V Muralidharan is recognised for conceptualising, detailing, and implementing successful new working business models that integrate retail, marketing, branding, and management concepts, including techno-commercial aspects. He has accumulated over 47 years of corporate and consulting experience, holding numerous senior positions throughout his career, such as VP (India) at Lifestyle International, Head of Mall Business at Future Group, Business Head at Splash UAE, and Advisor for Retail at Reliance Industries. His previous employers include Madura Coats, TTK Prestige, and General Motors (Middle East). Serving as the Principal Consultant and Founder of MaPS Retail Resources since 2004, his clientele includes SMEs as well as large corporates in India and Sri Lanka. He is passionate about not only sharing knowledge but also teaching, with academic experience spanning over 23 years and serving as a Visiting Faculty or Guest Lecturer at many universities.
