Dr Vinod Kumar earned his doctoral title in Finance & Accounting from the Indian Institute of Management Indore in March 2017. Prior to this, he obtained a PGDM (with Finance and Economics as Majors) from IIM Lucknow and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Allahabad.

With 20 years of managerial experience in EPFO, Dr Kumar’s primary research interests lie in Asset Pricing, Financial Markets, IPOs, Behaviuoral Finance, and Growth Economics. His research papers, both published and presented at conferences, cover a wide range of topics in finance and economics, from financial economics to valuation theories.

Moreover, he has participated in several national and international conferences. Beyond his professional pursuits, Dr Kumar enjoys cooking, writing, engaging in social work, and reading about history, scientific discoveries, philosophy, politics, and psychology.
