Dr Srinath Raghavan
Dr Srinath Raghavan is a Senior Fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. He is also a Senior Research Fellow at the India Institute at King’s College, London. His recent books include War and Peace in Modern India, A Strategic History of the Nehru Years, and 1971: A Global History of the Creation of Bangladesh. Before coming to CPR, Dr Raghavan was a lecturer in Defence Studies at King’s College, London. He also completed his MA and PhD in War Studies from King’s College, London. Prior to his academic career, he spent six years as an Infantry Officer in the Indian Army.
