Amit Das

Amit taught in the undergraduate, MBA, PhD and executive programmes and conducted research in information systems at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, from 1994 to 2009. His teaching and research spanned the technology (database, networks, and information security) and behavioural (decision-making, technology evolution and e-Government) domains. For the next ten years, he worked at Qatar University, teaching at all levels (bachelors, masters and doctoral) and continuing his research in management and information systems. Amit has a B.Tech in Electronics Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, and a post-graduate diploma in Management (PGDM) from IIM Calcutta. After working with Tata Motors in market research for three years, he earned his PhD in Information & Decision Sciences from the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota, in 1994. Amit has collaborated with businesses (such as Apple, Asatsu-DK, Cray Research, Google, HP, IBM, Oracle and Qatar Petroleum) and public sector organizations (such as APEC, IDA Singapore and People’s Association) on a variety of research and consulting projects. His papers have been published in reputed journals such as Management Science, Strategic Management Journal, International Small Business Journal, Journal of Behavioral Finance, and Information & Management. He is a regular participant at international conferences on management and information systems.

Director – Academic Administration

G Janaki Ramachandram

Janaki has 33+ years of experience with premier B-Schools.

Before joining Krea, she was heading the Academic Programmes and Administration team at the Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam, since its inception in September 2015. She was the secretary to the Board of Governors, in-charge of MBA student admissions, financial aid, placements & student affairs, HR & general administration. She also helped develop standard operating procedures in the preparation of budgets and annual reports, library operations, disability services, medical services, hostel & mess services; and outsourced services such as IT services, housekeeping services, security services.

At ISB, she led the implementation of SAP Higher Education and Research – Student Life Cycle Management Module, other IT applications such as Moodle-based Learning Management System (LMS), and course registration software. She has also contributed towards setting up IT and PGP offices at ISB Mohali.

At XLRI, she led the development of Academic Information System (AIS) and Class Scheduling System (CSS). She has also worked with the Registrar’s office, Director’s office, Dean’s office and Management Development Programmes’ office.

Janaki holds a PGDBA degree in Finance from SCDL, Pune; Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from KPMG; CLIP – Certified Lead Implementer Professional by BSI. She is currently pursuing her PhD from Andhra University.

Manager – Admissions

Akshay Kadam

Akshay Kadam is currently working as Manager with the Admissions Team of IFMR GSB, Krea University. He has completed his Post Graduate Program from Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam with Marketing and Strategy concentration and has done his engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University. He has worked at the capacities of Senior Consultant at the State Project Directorate, RUSA – Govt. of Maharashtra and as Expert Consultant to the Government of Andhra Pradesh, Higher Education Department.

He has qualified the UGC National Eligibility Test and the Maharashtra State Eligibility Test in Management as a testament to his interest in pedagogy and belief in quality education. His entrepreneurial stint of an education start-up and his contribution in students’ affairs at IIMV has helped him pave his way in the higher education domain. Having engaged with multiple stakeholders in the field, he is able to trigger productive discussions and bring a lot of value to the table.

Deputy Manager – Admissions

Sunitha Bhaskaran

Sunitha Bhaskaran is currently working as Deputy Manager in Admissions and Academic Administration department in IFMR GSB, Krea University, since 2019.
She has completed her Post-Graduation in Science, specializing in Human Development and Family Studies from University of Madras and Graduation in Science, specializing in Nutrition & Dietetics from University of Madras.
She has a total 11 years of wok experience. The first 5 years were in the Banking & Financial industry. She has worked in the capacity of Assistant Manager in HSBC, HDFC and Optimus Business Solutions (handling back office operations of ICICI bank). 

The next 6 years of experience was in a private educational institution as a manager , handling various domains like Awareness, Admissions, Academic Administration, Internships, Placements and overall campus activities.
