S Sundara Rajan is the Registrar and Chief of Staff of Krea University and IFMR Society. He joined IFMR in September 1990 and has over 28 years of experience in Administration and HR. He was promoted to Registrar of IFMR in 2008. In this capacity, he acts as Executive Secretary of the IFMR Society Board and other committees of the Board. He is also the Chief of HR and heads the HR function of Krea University. He is the primary contact person between Krea and the IFMR Research Centres for all policy-related matters.


As Chief of Staff, S Sundara Rajan works closely with the offices of the Vice-Chair of the Governing Council and the Vice-Chancellor of Krea University, and is responsible for the overall administrative and personnel matters of Krea University and IFMR Society.
