Mr Ashvin Chadha

Ashvin is Managing Partner and a member of Anicut Investment Committee. He is a seasoned finance professional with two decades of experience across investment banking, private equity / angel investments and private credit. He has served on the Boards of several public and private companies.

Having garnered extensive experience in the financial services sector, Ashvin Chadha’s journey commenced in the vibrant financial hub of New York City. At the outset, he embarked on his professional odyssey as an investment banker at the prestigious Morgan Stanley. Thereafter, he transitioned to General Atlantic LLC, a prominent global private equity firm with offices in both New York City and Greenwich.

In 2006, Ashvin began a new chapter by returning to India, where he played a pivotal role in founding the Mumbai office of India Equity Partners (IEP), a prestigious India-focused Private Equity Fund with a $350 million corpus. His contributions and passion were dedication in laying the foundation for this massive venture. Subsequently, in 2011, Ashvin Chadha chose to establish his own family office based in Delhi, focusing on investments in debt securities of mid-market Indian companies. His adeptness in this arena led to successful investments exceeding INR 100 crore across 20 diverse companies over a span of five years.

Ashvin has also served on the Board of Directors of several financial services companies including Manappuram Finance (until 2010) and Netafim Agricultural Finance Agency Private Limited (since 2012). He also serves as an advisor and Investment committee member for SEBI registered VC funds including Fulcrum Venture India LLP and Carpediem Capital Partners.

Ashvin’s academic achievements are as remarkable, having received his schooling at prestigious universities. He graduated from Wesleyan University and continued his education at The London School of Economics.
