Sajjan Jindal is an entrepreneur. He is the Chairman & Managing Director of the JSW Group of companies, diversified in steel, mining, energy, sports, infrastructure and software businesses. He was also the ex-President of the Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM). Sajjan Jindal holds a BE in Mechanical Engineering from the M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bengaluru, India. Among other civic society bodies, he has been serving as a Member of the Advisory Committee – TERI School of Management, a Council Member of the Indian Institute of Metals and the Board Member of the Indian Institute of Management, Indore. In 2009, Sajjan Jindal was awarded the prestigious 19th Willy Korf / Ken Iverson Steel Vision Award at the Steel Survival Strategies XXIV Conference for elevating JSW Steel amongst the selected few global steel producers.
